Bob Dickson Memorial
December 21, 1946, to January 12, 2021
Bob Graduated from high school in Fanwood, New Jersey and attended the University of Tennessee where he was on the track team placing twice in the SEC 440 dash and twice was member of the SEC winning mile relay team.
In 1971 Bob joined the Air Force and served until September 1977 as a Pilot of KC-135 Tanker aircraft. Bob married his wife, Dorie, in 1973 and had three children, Steven and twins Michael and Laura, followed by four grandchildren. Bob spent his work years in middle management positions responsible for production, loss prevention, and quality control in California, New Jersey, and Aiken, SC. In May 2009, Bob retired and spent time woodworking and enjoying golf.
Bob and Dorie moved to their cozy mountain home in Brevard, NC In 2019.
Bob passed away on January 12, 2021, after an extended battle with a neurological condition associated with Parkinson’s and is awaiting burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
