“What a Day!”

Chuck Rohe's legacy extends far beyond the record books. The success
of his student-athletes was tremendous, but the positive influence he
has had on their lives is immeasurable!

21 SEC Championships in Track & Field and Cross Country
15 consecutive Indoor and Outdoor SEC Track & Field Championships 1964 to 1971,
and six Cross Country championships
Six Top-10 NCAA Track & Field finishes
Three top-five NCAA finishes in Cross Country
Coached three NCAA Individual Champions
Coached 53 SEC Indoor event winners and 49 SEC Outdoor event winners
Coached three SEC Cross Country individual Champions
Credited with beginning the dual-sport athlete tradition at Tennessee
United States Track & Field Coach of the Year, 1967
Co-founder of the Knoxville Track Club
Inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, 1995
Inducted into the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame, 2002
Inducted into the Knoxville Track Club Hall of Fame, 2009
Inducted into the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)
